The Liberty Village Business Improvement Area (LVBIA) is a community based organization that supports and works on behalf of business and property owners fo Liberty Village.

The Challenge

LVBIA approached OneStreet Digital to update and upgrade their community based website. They were using an outdated and hard-to-mange website with a Content Management System (CMS) that was no longer supported by their previous development company. LVBIA wanted to move to a more modern and adaptable web platform that would make communicating with the Liberty Village area's businesses more effective.

The Solution

OneStreet Digital investigated the capabilities of the LVBIA and concluded that an open-source platform was exactly what they needed and was cost-effective solution. We moved them to the Drupal CMS platform and re-built their website accordingly. The restructuring pf the site's architecture created more relevant sections and gave the LVBIA staff more control and flexibility to communicate with members online. We also redesigned the site to give it a more modern look and feel to help better represent their dynamic members in Liberty Village.

The Results

LVBIA's website now has a reliable CMS with a revised design. This was accomplished in a cost-effective manner with very little training for LVBIA staff. The site now reflects the association positively for the businesses that it represents.

Traffic to the website has increased and LVBIA  staff can now post articles, images and news content on the site easily and efectively. Labour costs are no longer a worry and they have a reliable system.
